More care tips

Our bestsellers combined in one set—for the ultimate wine experience for two.

With this set, you'll always have the right glasses on hand for almost any wine. It includes two Josephine N° 2 Universal glasses and two Josephine N° 3 Red Wine glasses.

Also a great gift—this set is a thoughtful combination of elegance, functionality, and refined design.

Josephine N° 2 – Universal

As a true universal genius, the Josephine N° 2 brings every medium-weight white or red wine to its optimal development. From Pinot Blanc and Viognier to Sangiovese and Tempranillo - the glass is convincing for a wide range of wines. It is thereby practical, and emphasizes subtle notes as well as the nuances of more complex wines. Mature red wines, to which not too much oxygen should be added, and high-quality vintage champagnes also demonstrate their full potential in the Josephine N° 2. Those who don’t have too much time to consider their choice of glasses would do best to pick this multi-award-winning universal glass. And then: simply enjoy!

Josephine N° 3 – Red

Our Josephine N° 3 glass is a proven Grand Seigneur. It has a large surface area, so that full-bodied and complex red wines have enough contact with oxygen. Kurt Josef Zalto has succeeded in squaring the circle with this glass – a combination of a Bordeaux and Burgundy glass. Full-bodied, concentrated and seductive Pinots, Bordeaux blends, Baroli, Syrah and the like can unfold in the Josephine N° 3 in an expansive manner. Moreover, this masterpiece offers the perfect stage for full-bodied and extracted white wines, such as barrique-aged Chardonnays, as well as icon wines such as those from Napa Valley, Oregon, South America, South Africa and Australia.

Experience glasses that uniquely enhance the taste and aromas of wine.

The Josephine is a purely handcrafted and mouth-blown glass that stands out for its sensory qualities. Thanks to its distinctive kink, the wine absorbs more oxygen and reveals its full range of nuances. The extremely thin-walled, flexible glass feels light and balanced in the hand, delivering the wine’s aromas to the nose and palate with the finest subtleties.

Each Josephine glass is a mouth-blown and handcrafted unique piece.

The Josephine Collection, produced in the finest glassworks of Europe, is fundamentally different from machine-made glasses. It represents the fusion of traditional glassmaking craftsmanship and innovative design. Each glass is mouth-blown and crafted through a series of meticulous steps that demand extensive experience, skill, and the utmost concentration from master glassmakers. With great attention to detail, this process creates delicate yet durable glasses—designed for an unparalleled wine experience.

Designed by Kurt Josef Zalto, 6th-generation glass designer.

The soul of the Josephine is a visionary artist: Kurt Josef Zalto, a sixth-generation glass designer with a deep-rooted passion for craftsmanship. His mission: to create a glass that not only impresses with its aesthetics but also elevates the enjoyment of wine to a new level.

Every detail reflects the experience, dedication, and creative power of Kurt Josef Zalto. Stripped down to the essentials, the Josephine combines design, function, and craftsmanship at the highest level — earning multiple international awards.
