For polishing glassware, nothing beats a soft linen cloth dedicated solely to that purpose—think of it as your glass’s personal wardrobe. The Josephinenhütte linen cloth is crafted on traditional looms in a fourth-generation Italian weaving mill, meets the standards of professional sommeliers, and gets even better with every wash.

The watercolor brush might just become your favorite care tool: in seconds, it absorbs that last droplet of water that often lingers at the deepest point of a stem glass’s base cone—preventing the buildup of limescale. Please use the brush only for removing water droplets, and let it dry lying flat or hanging.

Experience glasses that uniquely enhance the taste and aromas of wine.

The Josephine is a purely handcrafted and mouth-blown glass that stands out for its sensory qualities. Thanks to its distinctive kink, the wine absorbs more oxygen and reveals its full range of nuances. The extremely thin-walled, flexible glass feels light and balanced in the hand, delivering the wine’s aromas to the nose and palate with the finest subtleties.

Each Josephine glass is a mouth-blown and handcrafted unique piece.

The Josephine Collection, produced in the finest glassworks of Europe, is fundamentally different from machine-made glasses. It represents the fusion of traditional glassmaking craftsmanship and innovative design. Each glass is mouth-blown and crafted through a series of meticulous steps that demand extensive experience, skill, and the utmost concentration from master glassmakers. With great attention to detail, this process creates delicate yet durable glasses—designed for an unparalleled wine experience.

Designed by Kurt Josef Zalto, 6th-generation glass designer.

The soul of the Josephine is a visionary artist: Kurt Josef Zalto, a sixth-generation glass designer with a deep-rooted passion for craftsmanship. His mission: to create a glass that not only impresses with its aesthetics but also elevates the enjoyment of wine to a new level.

Every detail reflects the experience, dedication, and creative power of Kurt Josef Zalto. Stripped down to the essentials, the Josephine combines design, function, and craftsmanship at the highest level — earning multiple international awards.
